GenesisCare marks one year of integrated cancer care in Campbelltown
Campbelltown, Australia - Friday 28 March 2025 - GenesisCare is marking its one-year anniversary at its Campbelltown location, which brings integrated cancer care closer to home for the south-west Sydney community and people living in the Southern Highlands.
GenesisCare welcomes about 50 cancer patients a day into the Campbelltown facility for radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments. The centre has also become a hive of cancer support activity after launching support services for locals experiencing cancer including an exercise program, a support group for women and monthly events hosted by the Look Good Feel Good charity that aim to help manage the physical and psychological impacts of treatment. All groups and events are open to public or private patients from the south-west Sydney community.
Former cancer patient Fiona from Harrington Park said: "The GenesisCare centre is a fantastic addition to our area that offers healthcare choices for the people in our community. The convenient location, on-site parking and thoughtful touches like snacks and coffee made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I felt like I was a priority when I visited and still feel like the team at the centre are like family."
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Darcy Lound who attended GenesisCare’s Campbelltown centre to mark the first anniversary last night said: “I’m pleased to see how this facility has settled into our local community one year after launching its cancer treatment services to provide more healthcare options in south-west Sydney,” said Cr Lound.
“The centre has been a great addition to our existing network of healthcare services, easing pressure on our public system and ensuring our community has access to important health care services close to home, when they need it most.”

“Patients can choose to undertake a range of cancer treatments and services in the one building, which can reduce the need for patients to travel between different appointments and specialists.”
“At GenesisCare, we are committed to ensuring all cancer patients, regardless of where they live, receive access to the latest cancer treatments, closer to home.”
GenesisCare is one of Australia’s largest cancer care providers.
