From the moment you are referred to GenesisCare, our friendly reception team call you (yes, they call you!) to make your doctor’s appointment - which is typically around 5 days of referral.¹ On average our patients commence treatment around 12 days from referral.¹ Exceptions apply.

You might be surprised to hear that you can be in and out of daily treatment appointments in just 20 minutes (on average and exceptions apply)². This allows you to get on with other aspects of your day – and importantly, to rest.

We get it - you are tired of all the paperwork! To save you time in clinic, you can complete a registration form online from the comfort of your home (semi pre-populated!)³. Our team chases your paperwork and results on your behalf - helping to reduce your administrative burden.

We offer free or subsidised car parking in most centres as well as Wi-Fi. Plus, as a proudly Australian run cancer care provider, we understand the importance of having coffee in the waiting room!

You may be wondering about other aspects of your health, such as nutrition or psychology. We partner with leading local allied health practitioners and can help connect you as and when you need them.

The reception team gets to know you and your unique circumstances and, to the best of their ability, schedule your treatment appointments around your other commitments. You will receive information in advance about “what to expect” so you can attend your appointments feeling prepared.

Many of our doctors attend multi-disciplinary team meetings (MDTs) in their local area, discussing many patient cases with a group of specialists from different fields so most patients, particularly those presenting with complex conditions can benefit from multi-disciplinary care.

Advancing patient outcomes in the future is just as important to us as caring for patients today. In 2023, GenesisCare Research had more than 130 active research projects and 1,600 total patients in trials. Participation in research and clinical trials remain a key priority as we work towards new and better ways to treat illnness and disease, and deliver better outcomes for our patients.
