GenesisCare, Fraser Coast offers access to personalised cancer care services, including radiation therapy, to the local and regional Fraser Coast community.
GenesisCare, Fraser Coast is located in the grounds of the St Stephen's Hospital, Hervey Bay, with a specialist trained multidisciplinary team offering evidence-based cancer care services, aiming to deliver the best possible clinical outcomes for patients.
The dedicated and passionate team at GenesisCare, Fraser Coast includes radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, nurses, and friendly support staff.
The St Stephen's Hospital campus location allows us to collaborate with dedicated providers and act as the gateway to many of your cancer services - offering support throughout your journey.
Our treatments and services
Radiation Oncology
Radiation therapy may be offered in the early stages of cancer treatment, or after it has started to spread. Radiation therapy techniques can include Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), palliative care, and non-invasive treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer.
