GenesisCare, Hollywood offers access to integrated cancer care services including radiation therapy and allied health support.
At GenesisCare, we believe that care should be focused on the individual, not the condition.
The GenesisCare, Hollywood centre is located at Hollywood Private Hospital in the purpose-built Hollywood Consulting Centre, and offers access to personalised cancer care services to public and private patients.
The Hollywood team aim to offer rapid access to consultation and evidence-based treatment, delivered using advanced radiation therapy technology, within a multidisciplinary care environment.
Patient care is managed by a team of passionate healthcare professionals with experience in oncology including: radiation oncologists, registered nurses, radiation therapists, physicists, allied health professionals, and a dedicated team of support staff.
Our treatments and services
Radiation oncology
Radiation therapy uses high energy X-rays or other particles to treat cancer and can be used at all stages. Radiation therapy techniques can include: External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiation Therapy (SABR), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), palliative care, and specialised non-surgical treatment for skin cancer.

At GenesisCare, Hollywood we offer you access to a range of allied health services in partnership with Ramsay Health, all tailored to support your needs. One of your treatment team will discuss the most suitable options with you. Support services offered may include:

Exercise Therapy
Considerable research and clinical evidence has established that exercise may be beneficial for people with cancer; however, there is no one-size-fits-all approach.1,2 Every person’s circumstances are unique and these should be take into account. Tailored exercise programs designed by an exercise professional that include both aerobic and resistance training activities have been shown to provide benefits.3 To learn more about incorporating exercise during your cancer journey, please speak with your doctor and treatment team.
Accommodation for rural and regional patients
Eligible rural and regional patients may be offered access to the below accommodation options:
- Access to Crawford/Milroy Lodge via Cancer Council Accommodation Services for regional patients (criteria required)
- PATS assistance (criteria required)

Take the train to Elizabeth Quay station. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Elizabeth Quay bus station (Stand B6, Stop number 12216). Catch bus 950 to Hampden Road before Micrantha Lane and get off at stop 17395. Walk towards Monash Avenue and turn left up the road towards Hollywood Private Hospital. Look for 'Entrance 5' and follow the signs to the Hollywood Consulting Centre. GenesisCare is located on the ground floor of the Hollywood Consulting Centre inside the carpark. Train and bus information can be found on the 'Journey Planner' at transperth.wa.gov.au.
Transperth bus routes 24, 25, 26, 96, 97, 103 and 950 have stops near Hollywood Private Hospital. The closest bus stop is number 17388 located on Monash Avenue directly outside Entrance 5. From your bus stop, walk to 'Entrance 5' on Monash Avenue and follow the signs towards the 'Hollywood Consulting Centre' at the back of the hospital. GenesisCare is located on the ground floor of the Hollywood Consulting Centre within the carpark. Train and bus information can be found on the 'Journey Planner' at transperth.wa.gov.au.
Drive to Hollywood Private Hospital located on Monash Avenue in Nedlands. Look for the 'Entrance 5' sign and turn in. Follow the road along towards the back of the hospital past the multi-storey carpark. Veer left at the small round-a-bout and enter the carpark on your left under the 'Hollywood Consulting Centre' building. If this carpark is full, use the multi-storey carpark. GenesisCare is located on the ground floor of the Hollywood Consulting Centre building with direct access from the carpark.
