GenesisCare, Ringwood offers access to evidence-based cancer care services including radiation therapy and allied health services.
The GenesisCare, Ringwood team strive to offer rapid access to consultation and treatment, delivered using modern radiation therapy technology in a multidisciplinary environment.
Located on the ground floor of Ringwood Private Hospital with access to the Ringwood Cancer Centre (chemotherapy day unit) and Surgical Day Procedure Unit, the centre aims to offer high-quality cancer care to patients living in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We also have strong links to Epworth Eastern, Mitcham Private, Knox Private, and public hospitals including Maroondah Hospital, the William-Angliss Hospital Box Hill Hospital and the Austin Hospital.
Our treatments and services
Radiation Oncology
Radiation therapy may be offered in the early stages of cancer treatment, or after it has started to spread. Radiation therapy techniques can include External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), brachytherapy, and non-invasive treatment for skin cancer.
Allied Health Services
At GenesisCare, Ringwood we offer you access to a range of Allied health services, all tailored to support your needs. One of your treatment team will discuss the most suitable options with you. Support services offered may include:

- Counselling Service
- Cancer Support Groups including a Women’s Cancer Support Group
