Clinical interest in Medical Oncology
Dr Di Adams is an experienced medical oncologist who has worked as a Senior Staff Specialist in Medical Oncology at the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre for 23 years.
She trained in Medicine at Oxford and London Universities in the UK before coming to Australia, and then completing her training at Royal Prince Afred Hospital, Sydney.
She specialises in urological, gynaecological, and breast cancers as well as melanoma and sarcoma, and has knowledge about cancer survivorship..
She was a Member of the Executive Committee for the Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) for several years. She is the Leading Medical Oncologist on the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Exercise Committee helping to raise awareness about exercise in cancer care. She supervises oncology trainees and junior doctors in the Public Hospital.
