Dr Jessica Smith is a graduate of the University of Sydney and has worked predominately in Western Sydney. Her expertise spans multiple cancer types, with a particular focus on skin, lung, breast, and gynaecological cancers. Dr Smith is a compassionate physician who practices high-quality, patient-centred care.
Dr. Smith values the importance of clinical trials in improving cancer outcomes and quality of life. She has experience as a principal and sub-investigator in clinical trials, spanning phase 1-3 clinical trials.
Beyond her clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Smith is engaged in professional advocacy and leadership. She has previously served as the national chair of the Young Oncologist Group, a subgroup of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, where she advocated for the needs and interests of young oncologists nationwide.
