Clinical interest in the provision of early palliative care, cancer pain and complex symptom management in malignant and non-malignant conditions.

Dr. Rajvi Shah graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2014 (MBBS) and earned her Fellowship in Palliative Medicine in 2022, following training at various sites across Sydney and Melbourne including Concord Hospital, Peter Macallum Cancer Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health. Currently, she serves as a Palliative Medicine Specialist at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, focusing on optimising the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses. 

Rajvi has expertise in managing symptoms related to various cancers and advanced medical conditions, including renal, respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and neurodegenerative disorders.

She is actively engaged in clinical research and education and is currently completing her thesis on the impact of ambulatory palliative care on symptom outcomes in cancer patients. A former executive member of Australasian Palliative Link International, Rajvi is passionate about advocacy in both local and developing communities. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
