Clinical interests in general haematological conditions, bone marrow biopsies, and the interpretation of blood/marrow pathology with flow cytometry and complex haemostasis.
Dr Ng graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2011. Following physician training at the Lyell McEwin hospital, he completed subspeciality Haematology training across all metro SA Pathology training sites in 2021. He commenced a fellowship in SA’s dedicated Adult Haemophilia Treatment Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, playing a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. He obtained dual Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) respectively in 2022.
Dr Ng is a firm believer in providing patient-centered care and takes a holistic approach to managing hematological disorders. He is currently appointed as Consultant Physician at Mount Barker DSM Hospital and supports the Inpatient Unit/Chemotherapy Day Centre with managing haematological disorders alongside seeing a wide breadth of general medicine.
