Our services are quick and easy to access, whether you’re using your private health insurance or paying for your own treatment (also called self-pay).
How to use your private health insurance
We’re recognised by all major insurers, including Bupa, AXA PPP, Aviva and Vitality, and will help you with transport depending on treatment and locations, when required.
To use your private health insurance, follow these three easy steps:
- Ask your GP for a referral
- Check your policy covers what you need and call your health insurer for a pre-authorisation number. If you've not been referred to a specific consultant, we work with many experienced and leading expert surgeons and oncologists specialising in cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Call our contact centre on 0808 2533 352 and they can help you make an appointment. They’ll also explain what you’ll need to have ready, such as your insurer details and pre-authorisation number and the name of the consultant you want to see. Our team are here to help you with all the details
Paying for your own treatment
Self-paying or self-funding is when you pay for your own treatment without using medical insurance.
At GenesisCare self-pay options are available, and we can explain the costs associated with your tests, scans or treatment if you’d like to pay for yourself.
