Dr Suraiya Dubash is a consultant clinical oncologist specialising in the treatment of lung cancer, thymoma and thymic cancers and is lead for the stereotactic radiotherapy service at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre for the treatment of primary tumours and oligometastases. She also holds an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer post at Imperial College London working alongside the cancer imaging group.
She graduated from St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital with distinction awards and completed oncology training at Imperial College London and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. She holds a PhD in clinical cancer imaging from Imperial College London, using functional imaging (PET/CT and MRI), biomarker and radiopharmaceutical development as well as use of AI. She has received several awards for her research (NCRI, BNMS, JNM) and published in peer reviewed journals. She is also currently leading as principal investigator on a number of radiotherapy and cancer imaging studies.
Dr Dubash has expertise in chemotherapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and state of the art radiotherapy techniques including Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH), and stereotactic radiotherapy on both Linac and Cyberknife platforms.
