Dr Annette Tognela is a medical oncologist with over a decade of clinical experience, specialising in gastrointestinal (GI), lung, brain, and breast cancers. Annette is an energetic and empathic clinician who is dedicated to offering high-quality patient centred care. She attends the colorectal and upper GI, lung, brain, and breast multidisciplinary meetings.
Annette also has a clinical appointment at Campbelltown Hospital and is the Director of the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre. Annette’s research interest lies in clinical trials and has principal and sub-investigator experience in phase 2-3 clinical trials. She is also interested in clinical trial design and development and was previously a research fellow at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre.
Research interests
Annette has a research interest in clinical trials design and conduct. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Co-operative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology.
