Clinical interests in lung cancer, mesothelioma, brain tumours, genito-urinary and gastrointestinal cancer.
Dr Vineet Kwatra completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008 at the University of Adelaide. He completed basic physician training at Flinders Medical Centre followed by advanced training in medical oncology at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.
Vineet then completed his clinical research fellowship at Guy’s Hospital, London (2016-2018) gaining experiences in conducting cancer research in early phase clinical trial unit and lung cancer before returning to Adelaide in 2018. During this time, he has completed a master’s degree in molecular oncology.
He is a Director of Cancer Research SA (CRSA) and an active primary investigator for many international clinical trials. Vineet has authored and presented numerous article/poster publication in various conferences and reputable journals. He is co-chair at the lung cancer multidisciplinary meeting every fortnight through the private health system. Vineet holds a medical oncology consultant position at Lyell McEwin Hospital and is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide. He is passionate about making a difference and helping improve cancer care.
