Dr John Miller is a gynaecological surgeon specialising in the treatment of gynaecological cancers. These involve cancers of the uterus, cervix, ovary, vulva, fallopian tube and peritoneum as well as prophylactic surgery for inherited/familial cancers. He also has a special interest in pelvic masses and dysplasia (encompassing abnormal smears, CIN, VAIN, VIN, colposcopy and LLETZ procedures).
He is a senior staff specialist at the QEH and RAH with private rooms at Kimberley House, Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. He operates privately at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.
In addition to being a fully trained general gynaecologist he has undertaken an additional 4 years of subspecialty training to obtain certification as a Subspecialist in Gynaecological Oncology. This encompasses advanced gynaecological surgical techniques including bowel surgery as well as training in chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Dr Miller actively participates in postgraduate education, gynaecological cancer research and community education.
